House of Aashari - Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement of Terms

By placing an order with House of Aashari, you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions (“Terms”). These govern the sale, customization, delivery, and support of furniture products by House of Aashari.

2. Custom Orders & Design Process

  • All custom furniture orders require a signed design approval and a minimum 50% advance payment.

  • Once production begins, custom orders cannot be changed, cancelled, or refunded under any circumstances.

  • Design modifications requested post-approval will incur additional charges and revised timelines (if accepted).

3. Pricing & Payments

  • Price quotations are valid for 30 days.

  • Balance payment must be made before dispatch or pickup.

  • Delay in payment may attract storage charges or delivery postponement.

  • Ownership of goods transfers only after full payment is received.

4. Materials & Craftsmanship

  • House of Aashari uses high-quality, ethically sourced materials.

  • If the customer supplies any material (e.g., fabric or wood), House of Aashari is not liable for any defects, wear, or compliance (e.g., fire safety standards).

  • Variations in natural grain, knots, or finish are considered inherent to handcrafted and natural products and not treated as defects.

 

5. Timelines & Delays

  • An estimated delivery timeline will be shared at the time of order confirmation.

  • Timelines are subject to material availability and external conditions. Delays due to force majeure, third-party delays, or logistics are not the liability of House of Aashari.

  • Time is not considered the essence of the contract.

 

6. Delivery, Fit, and Acceptance

  • Delivery is made to the address confirmed at the time of order.

  • It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that furniture dimensions are suitable for entry points, elevators, stairways, and rooms.

  • House of Aashari is not liable for delivery failures due to site access issues.

  • Any concerns about damage or quality must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with supporting photographs. Issues reported beyond this window may not be entertained.

 

7. Returns, Replacements & Refunds

  • House of Aashari does not offer any refunds, including for custom or non-custom items.

  • Products once sold will not be taken back, exchanged, or refunded.

  • In the rare case of manufacturing defects or incorrect delivery, House of Aashari will offer a repair or replacement at its sole discretion.

  • Decisions on eligibility for repair/replacement must be made within 48 hours of delivery, subject to inspection and verification.

 

8. Storage & Delayed Delivery

  • If a customer is unable to accept delivery beyond 7 days from the scheduled date, storage charges may apply.

  • Furniture held beyond 30 days without full payment and confirmed delivery may be considered abandoned, and House of Aashari reserves the right to forfeit the advance without liability.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

  • House of Aashari shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, emotional distress, or disruption of use.

  • Maximum liability is limited to the value of the product, and no liability arises for third-party installations, alterations, or usage.

 

10. Force Majeure

  • We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or material shortages.

 

11. Governing Law

  • All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka and governed by the laws of India.
